HMD is an international multidisciplinary design consultancy with offices in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen and Xi'An. HMD China's business scope covers Planning, Urban Design, Architectural Design, Landscape Design and Interior Design. HMD's work is focused on hotel, commercial, retail development, tourism and large-scale residential projects. The three directors Mr. Jeff Xu (Managing Director), Mr. Paul Rice (Design Director) and Mr. Lee Jianbo (Partner and Senior Architect) with the core team of HMD staff have all worked together in China for many years. The HMD China team, now numbers more that one hundred professional staff.
